Is there a fee for application?
What are the documents required at the time of application?
- Resume
- 12th Mark sheet with Math, Physics, and English as subjects
- DGCA Class 1 valid and current medical certificate or CA-35.
If you are yet to appear for Class 1, you can submit your Class 2 medical certificate or CA-35 at the application stage. - Identification, which could be either your Aadhar Card or Passport
I am a graduate with 51% aggregate in my graduation, but I don’t have 51% in English/Math/Physics in 10+2. Am I still eligible?
Can I apply for flying training with a diploma degree?
A diploma alone cannot substitute for the Class XII qualification when applying to the IndiGo CPP Program. To be eligible, applicants must:
- Provide an equivalency certificate that confirms the diploma is equivalent to a 10+2 qualification with Mathematics, English, and Physics.
- Alternatively, complete Class XII board exams through an accredited national open school, meeting the required minimum marks in English, Mathematics, and Physics as outlined in the eligibility criteria.
What is a Board Verification Certificate, and is it mandatory?
A Board Verification Certificate is issued by educational boards to verify the authenticity of marksheets for 10th, 10+2, or 10+2 equivalent. This certificate is mandatory for all Indian and foreign candidates applying for a DGCA Computer Number. Candidates should provide a copy of this certificate if requested by IndiGo.
- For CBSE and ICSE, the application process is online.
- For State Boards, NIOS, and others, it is offline.
I have some hours of flying experience. Can I still apply?
Does the IndiGo LoI help with bank funding?
Is the DGCA Theoretical Ground classes and RTR included in the program cost of USD 132,000?
- DGCA Theoretical Ground classes for Navigation, Meteorology, Regulations, and Tech Specific are included in the program cost as an inaugural offer until June 2025.
- The RTR preparation and exam fees are not included in the program cost.
How do I apply for a DGCA Class I Medical Certificate?
The pre-requisite to Class I medical is a valid Class 2 medical.
- If you have not undergone Class II medical yet, please schedule an appointment with a DGCA-empanelled Class II Medical Examiner. The list can be found on the DGCA website.
- For Class I Medical, please refer to the guidelines on the DGCA website and follow the latest updates.
