Eligibility Requirements

To apply for the Marigold Academy IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Age:     

Between 18 and 35 years

Education:

10+2 with a minimum score of 51% / Grade Point 6 / Grade C1 (CBSE) individually in each subject, i.e., Physics / Mathematics / English.

National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)  mark sheets are accepted with a minimum score of 51% in Mathematics, Physics and English individually.

Medical:

Valid Indian DGCA Class I Medical Certificate

Passport:

Valid Indian Passport

English Language Fluency:  

Both written and verbal

Assessment & Selection Process

Here’s what happens when you apply to the Marigold Aviation IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program

Stage 1:

Our team pre-screens your application and verifies the submitted documents.  If your documentation is in order, you progress to the next stage, the Assessment tests.

Stage 2: Assessment center

You will be invited to our assessment centre where you will be required to do the IndiGo ADAPT  online psychometric and aptitude test. Candidates will be assessed on the behavioural and cognitive proficiencies required for an airline pilot.

The assessment day will cover

  • Computer-based testing
  • Pilot aptitude, including hand/eye co-ordination motor skills and spatial awareness
  • Academic, mathematical and technical capacity
  • A multiple-choice test of technical reasoning
  • A dynamic multi-task test

On successful completion of Stage 1 & Stage 2 you will be invited by IndiGo for Stage 3 & Stage 4 of the selections.

Stage 3: Group Task Assessment conducted by IndiGo

During this stage you will work on a task with a small group of other prospective cadet pilot candidates. You will be assessed on your communication, team coordination, multi-tasking and reasoning skills.

Stage 4: Personal Interview conducted by IndiGo.

This is the final stage of the selections where you will be individually interviewed by IndiGo personnel, and will have the opportunity to demonstrate your passion, determination and knowledge for the job.

 

Upon meeting the required benchmarks of the Group Assessment & Personal Interview you will be invited to sign a Letter of Intent with IndiGo and complete the required HR formalities.

 

Marigold Aviation will then commence the signing of your training contract and begin the on-boarding process.
