Selection:
Following the verification of your application, if you meet the eligibility criteria, you will go through a screening process with our team which will include the following stages:
Stage One: Aptitude & Psychometric Assessment
This phase uses the ADAPT testing tool. Pilot aptitude testing is delivered via a laptop and some exercises will require the use of other equipment.
Stage Two: IndiGo Group Task Assessment
If you are successful in Stage One, you will be invited to the group activity process with IndiGo. The group activity consists of various group exercises with other successful candidates. IndiGo Flight Operations and Human Resources staff will be present at this stage.
Stage Three: IndiGo Personal Interview
If you are successful through the group activity, you will move on to an in-person interview with IndiGo.
Note: All rounds are eliminatory.
Once you clear all three stages, you will be offered a Cadet Pilot Agreement by IndiGo for the IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program.
The selection process is offline. Candidates must arrange and pay for their own boarding and lodging.
There is a one-time assessment fee of 30,000 INR. The selection process will start as soon as the assessment fee has been paid to Marigold Aviation Academy.
The ADAPT test assesses your aptitude to successfully complete the training. It is recommended not to prepare specifically for the ADAPT test to avoid misleading results.
All candidates who successfully complete the course are offered positions as Junior First Officers at IndiGo, as per the details in the IndiGo Cadet Pilot Agreement.
